🌸 1. Elafonisi (Elafonissi) Beach, Crete, Greece
Elafonisi is a small islet connected to the rest of Crete by a shallow reef that can be crossed when the sea is calm. At low tide, you can even get here by foot. With pink coral sand and crystal clear water, the nature reserve is an extraordinary place to visit.

Spiaggia Rosa - an Italian beach known for its various shades of pink - from fuchsia to salmon. This idyllic spot is located on Isola Budelli, a small island in the Maddalena Archipelago National Park off the northern coast of Sardinia. Komodo is not only home to the largest lizard in the world (the Komodo dragon), the island is also known for Pantai Merah, a gorgeous pink beach. The huge strip of sand has quite a few shades of pink, a mixture of white and red sand full of microscopic pinkish particles.

In the east of Harbour Island in the Bahamas, the beaches are famous for their pinkish tinge. The foraminifera (a small sea creature with reddish shells) is responsible for this colour. Visitors will also find incredibly clean water, making the beaches on the island perfect for snorkelling and diving.
