See the Northern Lights & polar bears With a train from Winnipeg to Churchill from under £200
From £154
Train info 🚂Did you know there's a train that travels the length of Manitoba from Winnipeg in the south to Churchill in the north?
From £154 (example date: 1st March), you'll embark on a 44-hour journey in economy seats with extra legroom, travelling to northern Canada where you can witness the northern lights from the observation deck and maybe even polar bears once you arrive in Churchill.
For an extra cost, you can book a sleeper plus with berths or a private sleeper cabin room.
Trains operate on Sundays and Tuesdays from Winnipeg to Churchill. You could then spend a few nights in Churchill and take a return train back or look at flight options to return.
We've also found a great price to stay at the 4-star Fairmont in Winnipeg for the night before the train journey from £88.
Getting there from the UK? ✈️
The nearest airport is Winnipeg, but this requires a quick stop in Toronto for most routes (prices ranging from £300–£600 return). Alternatively, you could fly into Toronto directly, and then take another long train journey for more beautiful views. This page is to inspire you, but we'll leave the trip up to you!
More dates are available; you can simply click through and change the date to check prices and availability. Not all dates have available sleeper cabin availability.
*Please note: The highest likelihood of seeing polar bears is from July to November.
We might be pirates, but we’re an honest bunch. We check all our deals when we review them to make sure everything is available. However, with deals this hot, things change quickly—flight prices fluctuate, hotel rooms sell out, currencies yo-yo. And just so you know, local taxes might still apply – even treasure has its fine print. But mainly, demand for the best deals means the lowest prices don’t last long. If you’ve missed out this time, don’t worry, we’re working on more great offers.
