There's a sleeper train to see the BEST Northern Lights spots 🥹🌌

Pirates, this is one of the best train journeys to the best Northern Lights spots between two countries in under 20 hours.

You'll travel from Stockholm all the way to Narvik in Northern Norway. It even passes through Swedish Lapland.

Tickets can cost from £65 for a second-class ticket during Northern Lights season, or sleeper beds are available for a higher price.

Example trip idea:

• Fly into Stockholm and spend 1-2 nights exploring the city.

• Take the sleeper train to Narvik and explore the area. There are some incredible activties you can book including reindeer farms and Fjord day trips.

• Hotels in Narvik are pricy, but given you arrive at midday, you can take a train back along the route to Abisko or Kiruna (at around 3pm) where hotels are a more affordable to spend the night.

• Take the train back to Stockholm during the day for a different version of scenery

• Fly back to the UK
