The Cayman Islands launched a new program for digital nomads
During the height of the pandemic, opportunities to become a digital nomad became extremely popular. We haven't reported on a country offering digital residency in a while, but since the fight against the virus rages on, why not pack your bags to somewhere with nicer weather? Of course, you'll have to have a job that allows you to do so...but if you do find yourself in the position, then this is for you.
The Cayman Islands Department of Tourism recently launched their new 'Global Citizen Concierge Program' for digital nomads looking to relocate while working remotely. The program gives you the option to extend your stay for up to two years in the islands. Read on to learn more!
The Global Citizen Concierge Program allows professionals and digital nomads alike to relocate to the Caribbean island, where they will be able to fully emerse themselves in the culture as well as the remote lifestyle. And due to its isolated location, the Cayman Islands were lucky enough not to have had such large numbers of Covid-cases.
Successful applicants will be able to live and work remotely in the Cayman Islands for up to two years. I don't know about you, pirates, but working from the beach does sound like a great time!
