Located about 45 minutes away from the Seychelles main Island of Mahe is Silhouette Island.
Here you will find - nestled into the jungle - the luxurious 5-star Hilton Seychelles Labriz Resort & Spa.The hotel is the only resort on the island and the surrounding waters are protected by a marine reserve, so you’ll have a pristine beach and a shallow lagoon on your doorstep.
To get to the hotel, you'll have a 30-minute coach journey to a private jetty, where you will get on a private boat for a 45-minute scenic journey.
Each room on the island is it's own private villa, each of which is scattered around the hillside, the beach or the gardens. The villas feature outdoor showers so you can get the feel of nature.
Relax next to the pool on a sunbed or on the beach.
While you will be the only resort on the island, you certainly won't go hungry! There are seven onsite restaurants to choose from – offering everything from Japanese and Italian to Asian-fusion cuisine and seafood.
The hotel offers free activities for guests, including beach yoga and mini golf. Ecotourists will be able to sign up for hikes to discover the lush rainforest that is located on the island or take a trip to one of the many remote beaches on the island like Grand Barbe and Anse Mondon.
If you are a fan of scuba diving, then you're in luck! The hotel has the only five-star PADI diving centre on the island. For those who still want to discover the underwater ocean world and protected reefs, snorkelling is also an option.
