The hotel is Hotel Charles Central, a three-star pad which sits two kilometres from the town's centre - a great location for the price, and easily walkable. The hotel is quite basic in terms of facilities, but that hasn't put off previous guests who rated it 4/5 on Tripadvisor.
Prague is a pretty enchanting city, especially in winter. With great rates in January you'll miss the Christmas markets, but you can still enjoy the views over Charles Bridge, climb up to Prague Castle, and enjoy a drink or two outside the Astronomy Tower.
