Nights 1 - 3
On arrival at Dubai airport, you'll enjoy a private transfer to the 5* Fairmont Hotel Dubai. Close to Dubai Marina and the incredible Mall of The Emirates, this super modern hotel has its own private beach club, impressive pool and seven top-rated restaurants to choose from on-site. You'll spend three days exploring the wonders of Dubai from this luxury sanctuary.
Night 4
Next, you'll fly to Sri Lanka. At Negombo airport you'll meet your English-speaking guide who will accompany you around Sri Lanka. Your transfer from the hotel will see you arrive at the 5* Heritance Negombo and stay in a Deluxe Room. Dinners here are particularly dramatic, held on the lawn that overlooks the Indian Ocean. Relax after your flight or laze on the sandy Negombo Beach Park.
Nights 5 - 6
Your next stop is to Dambulla and a visit the UNESCO World Heritage Rangiri Dambulla Cave Temple. Carved into the rock are five cave temples, the largest and best-preserved in all of Sri Lanka. From here you'll transfer to your hotel, the 5* Heritance Kandalama in a Superior Room.
The next day, you'll travel to Sigiriya and climb the Sigiriya Rock Fortress. This 5th-Century fortress and UNESCO World Heritage Site has to be seen to be believed: on top of a giant rock and surrounded by jungle below, the fortress has buildings, frescoes and even graffiti from the monks who made the pilgrimage here in the 13th-Century.
After, you'll visit a rural village in Sigiriya and see the daily life here. Next, you'll travel to the Ancient City of Polonnaruwa which was once the second kingdom of Sri Lanka and is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After your explorations, head back to your hotel in Kandalama for some rest and relaxation.
Night 7
Your next stop is to Kandy. On the way, you'll visit a spice garden in Matale and get a well-deserved massage as well as a refreshing herbal tea to enjoy. You'll travel onwards to Kandy, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and sacred Buddhist site. Your final visit today is to the Temple of the Tooth Relic (where Buddha's tooth can be found) and a chance to wander through Kandy market. Back in your hotel, the 5* Grand Kandyan, you can marvel at the mountain views, or chill in the rooftop pool area.
Nights 8 - 9
You'll start today's adventure at Peradeniya Train Station, boarding a scenic train and passing tea-plaintation covered mountains on the way to Nuwara Eliya. On arrival, your guide will whizz you to your hotel, the 5* Heritance Tea Factory, a 19th-Century colonial-style hotel surrounded by tea plantations. There is a pampering spa at the hotel, or you can even hire a bike to cycle around the old British villages.
The next day, you will embark on a trek on the Horton Plains. You'll see the World’s End, a view held to be one of the most stunning in the country, with a 4,000 feet drop off the edge complete with waterfall. After, you will visit a tea plantation and enjoy a tea plucking experience. Just make sure to end your day with a perfectly blended cup of pure Ceylon Tea.
Night 10
Today you will transfer from Nuwara Eliya to Colombo, arriving at your hotel, the centrally located 5* Cinnamon lakeside. The day is yours to explore Colombo, have a beer at Dutch Hospital shopping district, see the Old Parliament Building or marvel at the beauty of Beira Lake.
