Pirates, we've put together a Costa Rica adventure for you, if you're up for it?

We've spotted great-value flights (with just one short stop for under £600). With these, you'll reach San José, the capital of Costa Rica in under 17 hours. And, we've combined these flights with an eco lodge stay that has access to a pool, dreamy jungle views and is close to a beach.

All of that will cost around £767 per person. This price doesn't include transfers. Your flight lands quite late, so we've added a budget stay near the airport to the itinerary before you head to the lodge.

We recommend renting a car. We've seen prices for less than £30 per day. It's roughly a 7.5 hour drive to the lodge form the capital.
