Similar trips as package holidays can cost up to £90 more
From £157 pp
Step 2:✈️ book your flightsWe've seen the price of Iceland packages go up in recent years. If you want to save money, book flights and the hotel separately.
By combining flights from Kayak (from £56) with a hotel deal from Trivago (from £67 per night), we created a 3-night break from £157. Similar trips as package holidays can cost up to £90 more.
The price is for two people sharing a room, so you'll need a travel companion.
Travel from London Luton on 18 November:
There are plenty of accommodation options in Reykjavik, but we think the Blue House B&B is excellent value, coming in at £101 per person for three nights. You will have to cope with a shared bathroom, but it's a small sacrifice.
Price breakdown:
Flights: £56 per person
Hotel: £101 per person for 3 nights (£202 total)
Total: £199
And if you fancy spending a bit more, you can add a Northern Lights excursion and the trip will still come in under £200:
Note: the meeting point for the excursion is about 15 minutes by taxi from the hotel.
⚠️ This isn't a package holiday. Since you must book flights and the hotel separately, this trip isn't ATOL-protected. Make sure to have travel insurance in case anything goes wrong.
We might be pirates, but we’re an honest bunch. We check all our deals when we review them to make sure everything is available. However, with deals this hot, things change quickly—flight prices fluctuate, hotel rooms sell out, currencies yo-yo. But mainly, demand for the best deals means the lowest prices don’t last long. If you’ve missed out this time, don’t worry, we’re working on more great offers.
