When it comes to stunning beaches, towering cliffs, pretty fishing villages and sandy coves, Portugal's southernmost region, the Algarve has it nailed. So when we saw this getaway staying in a 4-star hotel 50 metres from the beach for less than £200, we had to share the love.

Location, location, location - Vilamoura is just 10 minutes away. So there are lots of things to see and do. Don't miss Praia da Falesia beach with its golden sands and orange cliffs. The idyllic marina has fancy yachts, fine restaurants, cocktail bars and cafes. And, the area has five golf courses, including the Victoria Course, which is used for the Portugal Masters.
