Tromso in Norway is one of the best places to see the Northern Lights in the world. The almost fluorescent glow of the polar light here means that even in downtown Tromso it's not unusual to see the natural phenomenon from your hotel window.

But, far away from the hustle and bustle and away from light pollution is your best bet when it comes to experiencing the Northern Lights in all its beauty. All you need is a clear cloudless sky and darkness. So Northern Light seekers heads up as have we found the perfect winter getaway for you.

This November, you get to jet off on a Northern Light-seeking mini break and enjoy a 2-night stay at the Moxy Tromso for £226. This same trip in January costs up to £130 more. What's more, the best time to see the Northern Lights in Tromso is from mid-September to April and with around four hours of daylight in November, the odds are in your favour.

We love the idea of being camped out at this super cool hotel. And the Moxy purposely puts its Sky Bar, restaurant and common areas on the 11th floor to offer the best views. There is also a plethora of board games, a foosball table, crafted cocktails and yummy burgers on tap. On the rooftop terrace, there is a telescope, so you can spot the wildlife below as well as gaze at the stars, and hopefully the Northern Lights. 🏡⛵🏔️

Additional Information

*We might be Pirates, but we’re an honest bunch. We check all our deals when we review them to make sure everything is available. Here’s the catch: with deals this hot, things change quickly: flight prices fluctuate, hotel rooms sell out, currencies yo-yo. Mainly, demand for the best deals means the lowest prices don’t last long. But, if you’ve missed out this time, don’t worry: we’re working on more great offers.
