Week Madeira winter-sun holiday in 4-star central Funchal hotel with breakfast

Pirates, sometimes you have to hold up your hands and say enough is enough, and then book yourself a week in Madeira.

We're enablers at HolidayPirates, so here's a week at a lovely 4-star resort, with a fantastic central Funchal location for £283* per person, including flights and breakfast. It's one of the cheapest packages we've found for Madeira in ages, with many costing £400+.

The hotel is located a few minutes' walk from the Lido promenade, which is one of the liveliest spots in Funchal. The hotel is also attached to a small shopping centre with shops and restaurants and a short distance from a pebble beach.

Onsite at the hotel they have a few pools, both a heated indoor pool and outdoor pools, a lovely spa, restaurant and two bars.

The best price we found was in February, which has highs of around 20C, so a bit too cool for swimming in the sea, but plenty of sunshine.
