You don't have to go far to immerse yourself in a South Asian atmosphere: this hotel is in Spain, not Indonesia or Thailand, though you'd be forgiven for thinking it.
We've found a 5-night stay at the 5-star Asia Gardens Hotel & Thai Spa, including flights and breakfast, for £506.
In the hotel you'll find beautiful Balinese-style rooms with four-poster beds, as well as several indoor and outdoor swimming pools. In addition, you can enjoy a massage in the stilt houses, surrounded by gardens, for a Thai-style spa experience. Finally, breakfast is included, as well as free cancellation.
It's cheapest to go in February, when Alicante will be a very pleasant 18C, when you can still enjoy 4 heated swimming pools set to a lovely 30C, from October to May. There are also good rates in spring and autumn if you're willing to pay a little bit more.
