New Zealand is officially open to travellers!

We've got great news, pirates! After two years of what has been one of the toughest lockdowns in the world, New Zealand has finally re-opened to tourism.

Since 2nd May, vaccinated travellers who arrive with a negative COVID test and who come from 60 visa-exempt countries, including the UK, can enter the country.

Entry requirements to New Zealand:

  • New Zealand requires all travellers aged 17 and over to carry full proof of vaccination.

  • All travellers must pass a test before departure. This may be a Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) performed no later than 24 hours before scheduled departure; a polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test performed no later than 48 hours prior to departure; or an isothermal loop amplification test (LAMP) performed no later than 24 hours prior to scheduled departure.

  • No more quarantine for vaccinated travellers

  • The purpose of the trip must be to visit the country and the visa waiver conditions must be met
