The UK also happens to be a great money-saving option for a family holiday, as there are a large number of holiday parks, beachside resorts and cottages that perfectly cater for those travelling with kids - along with activities to keep them busy!

1. Liverpool: Considered to be one of the best-value city breaks in the UK, there are plenty of deals to be found here. This city may be famous for being the hometown of The Beatles, but there's no shortage of things to do in Liverpool.

2. Peak District: This destination is ideal for those looking to get outdoors on their holiday. Peak District National Park is home to hundreds of walking trails and pretty villages; you can get great deals here outside of the school holidays.
